1st June : Local Farm

Spent nearly 3 hours at a local farm this morning, just generally talking whilst keeping an eye on the birds toing & froing. Blue & Great Tits were busy feeding young, as were a pair of House Sparrows, when I say a pair it was only the female providing the food, I watched her make 10 visits to the nest in about 40 minutes, as the male seem to be continually calling from nearby bushes.

A male Grey Wagtail sang from the barn roof, late it & a female foraged in the yard.
