Two Mistle Thrushes in the paddocks were the first in a long while. A male Blackcap was feeding in the Wisteria of a neighbouring house as the Juvenile Tawny Owl continued to taunt me from it's day time roost in the Ivy. A Hobby drifted over mid morning. Later a stunning Brimstone graced the garden feeding on Thistle & Purple Loosestrife, the only flowers it fed from, must have some kind of purple fetish. As dusk began to fall seven Blackbirds bathed in the ponds, mainly youngsters.
