1st February..... Gulls.

Food shopping trip was an excuse to check out the Gulls on Scottowe's Pond in Lowndes Park Chesham. 42 Black-headed Gulls were toughin' it out on the frozen water facing into the biting wind, along with a couple of Lesser Black-backed Gulls.

A couple of Mistle Thrushes were in the trees in Sainsburys car park, as a Pied Wagtail scurried around the parking bays.
Back at home 3 Pied Wagtails fed on the scattered seed, as c20 Fieldfares enjoyed the ornamental Crab Apples in a neighbouring garden.
