2nd June.... Singing the Blues.

After a morning out with Don had another short walk from home after lunch to have a look for common blue butterflies in a bird's-foot-trefoil rich field, one of its food plants. Found good numbers, mainly males.

A few females.

Watched males chasing the females.

Found a coupled pair, good to see them all over the yellow flowers.

Also found a colourful pair of green nettle weevils (I think).
