Flooded Meadows at Old Amersham

10th September..... Cultivating.
Three weeks after this field was combined and the straw
baled the contractors are back in cultivating the ground ready for
drilling the seed corn for the next year’s crop. Red Kites following
ready to grab any exposed worms, beetles or injured animals.
