4th September..... Bullfinches.

In the garden this morning heard bullfinches calling each other constantly. Two different pitches of their piping call. Later a freshly fledged youngster appeared, only saw one. Have not seen the female for a  while. The adult pair have been a regular in the garden all summer and always together. Chiffchaff and Blue Tit searching through the fennel yesterday.
